Club – western music

Carrera 14a No. 83-56

La Villa is the latest club to open in Bogotá, and the best if you are looking for somewhere playing western music, with Armandito, famous DJ of Armando Records plays on Friday nights

The décor is vintage, and the fit out Mediterranean with plenty of terrace space, antique furniture, a fountain and other cool features. Clientèle are friendly as are the various owners, some of whom are there most nights and will do their best to make you feel welcome

Calle 84 No. 13-17
Zona Rosa
Entry 20,000 COP, worth trying to bargain
Open 21:00 – 03:00/04:00

Mixture of Latin and western dance music, dress is more smart than casual, some of my mates reckon the people there are a bit pretentious, I’ve had some great nights there

Club
Calle 85 No. 14-46
Zona Rosa
Entry 20,000 COP
Open Tuesday – Saturday, 20:00 – 03:00

One of my fave clubs for the following reasons – great music – mostly funky western stuff, a roof terrace with heating where the music is loud enough to dance to yet not too loud to be able to talk, decent dance floor, friendly clientele

by Alex on Jul.11, 2010, under What to do in Bogotá

Calle 51 with Carrera 7
Chapinero

There are lots of cheap studenty bars in this area, great for meeting locals. Bar:be and In Vitro are just up the road

Club
Carrera 7 No. 57-45
Chapinero

Thursday – Saturday 20:00 – 03:00

A cool (literally) underground club near to the studenty bars and clubs at Calle 51 with Carrera 7. Chilled out bar and three dance areas, you’ll not find many westerners here
